Instead of having to chat and share images back and forth, users can seamlessly engage in one place, making the process more efficient and reliable. In this article, we’ll provide an overview of our recent design experience focused on chat UI/UX for real estate.
Revamped Chat UI/UX for Real Estate
The UI Studio revamped the real-time chat interface for buyers and sellers for one of our clients in Florida. They aimed for a seamless experience that enhances usability, allowing users to communicate about properties, share documents and images, and instantly access property details without any navigation.
Our UI/UX experts designed the following comprehensive one-stop solution.
Comprehensive UI/UX for the Buyer & Seller Communication
When you examine the chat interface, you’ll notice several features that enhance the user experience. It’s more than just a chat window; it provides an overview of the property being discussed. For instance, if a buyer is in conversation with a seller, they can easily access key details such as the property price, square footage, number of bedrooms, and bathrooms.
These aspects are vital for any buyer, allowing them to review this information at any time during the chat without needing to navigate to a different page or click elsewhere. This information is prominently displayed just below the chat navigation bar.
Additionally, the interface includes a Media & Info button, a search feature, and an external link that directs users to a dedicated property page. The search functionality allows users to effortlessly find specific conversations, streamlining the communication process. This makes it easy to revisit important discussions and details without any hassle.
Media, Attachments, and Property Details: A Seamless Overview Without Page Navigation
When the user clicks on the Media & Info button in the top right corner, a modal will appear. This modal will display the media (images or videos) shared between the seller and buyer, as well as any documents exchanged (such as legal documents or other property-related files), providing a comprehensive overview of the property.

Chat Interface UI/UX: List of Recent Message
Our chat interface prioritizes a clean and intuitive design. The card-based layout makes it easy to scan and understand recent conversations, with clear message previews and sender profiles. Finding specific conversations is quick and simple thanks to the search function, and the message count provides a helpful overview. A convenient options menu ensures easy access to additional actions.
